"Apollo 13" is a 1995 historical drama film directed by Ron Howard, recounting the harrowing true story of the ill-fated Apollo 13 lunar mission in 1970. The movie follows the Apollo 13 astronauts, Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton), and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon), as they face a catastrophic oxygen tank explosion en route to the moon.
